Adoption Costs

The adoption fee is charged to help recover the costs of the medical care provided as well as the food and particular needs of each animal. Additional donations are always appreciated. Because most of the animals we take in have had at least one home already, we choose to adopt only to those individuals who are willing to make a permanent, life-long commitment to the animal.

Extra Support

Once adopted, we initiate our After Care Program as a service to the adopter to help ease the transition for both the new pet guardian and the new pet. If for some reason the adoption does not work out, A Caring Place will accept the return of one of its own. An appointment for return is required.
